Mat and Chair Yoga

ONLINE CHAIR YOGA

Camille Jakominich of eZENtial Yoga in Moorestown, NJ offers yoga classes that benefit beginner yogis as well as seasoned yogis that need a little more support to complete their yoga practice. The 50-minute classes take place every Sunday morning and Thursday evening on Zoom so that you can perform yoga in the privacy of your own home.

Those who maybe have avoided trying yoga in the past because of balance or strength issues, can perform a modified yoga practice using a chair for support.

While many believe that chair yoga is geared toward older adults, anyone who is challenged with limited stability and balance can also benefit.  Chair yoga is a great way to stretch, breathe and build up your strength and balance to gain confidence in your everyday movements.

A chair is used to do all the poses. This helps create stability and strengthens the muscles.

The chair yoga classes are offered every week:  Sundays from 9:00 am to 10:00 a.m.; and on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

MAT YOGA

Camille added yet another class on traditional or mat yoga, which is more rigorous but still geared towards the beginner yogi in mind. The mat yoga class take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m; and on Sundays from 10:00am to 11:00am.

Participants are asked to pre-register by visiting ezentialyoga.com.  See a calendar of Camille’s classes here.
